Hi everyone,

Stumbled across this site whilst searching for telephoto lenses! So pleased I did, can't believe i haven't found it before now.

My names Les, the username is from my nickname given to me by an uncle, it's from Camberwick Green(kids tv prog), showing my age now . I have always loved wildlife, especially birds and my resolution this year is to get out more and put my new digital slr to good use. I have recently returned to another passion of mine which is painting wildlife,something I haven't done seriously since school days many years ago. I would like to upload some pics of my work as I like to hear peoples honest opinions of my paintings.I am also a member of the RSPB.

I live in North London,not the best area for wildlife .Can anyone suggest good places I should visit?I look froward to speaking to many of you.
