Hi Saracenandy,
Welcome to WAB. It's a great site. Are you in the British Isles? I ask because you are up late. Me, I'm an insomniac!

Hello Saracenandy

A warm welcome to WAB.

One of my favourite stamping grounds is north Norfolk too. I look forward to seeing some of your photos.

A little more about me !!!

Ancient guy with a passion for viewing the wild, woolly and beautiful as a possible hang it on the wall picture. Also, my youth was spent more in the countryside than towns or cities, and I have many happy memories of watching young badgers at play, hawks feeding young and much more - I felt priveliged, even at a young age. Given a Kodak Brownie 127 as a kid I became interested in the above description - but - growing up, joining HM Forces, getting married (and un-married), etc. gave me little time to pursue my photographic and conservation interests. However, currently with my partner, Claire (who shares my ideals AND has said YES to THE question), I am settled, happy and camera snappy.

My particular photographic bent is British land and sea scapes, and, 'cos we seem to have several horses, equine photography. All this apart, if I see anything from the natural (British) world and have my camera with me - SNAP !!!!!!!!!

I hope to be posting pics soon, and because I live in Sandy, Bedfordshire - I really must join the RSPB

Looking forward to meeting more of you in these terrific forums .......................

Hi, I'm looking forward to seeing your sea and landscapes from north Norfolk. My family originated from that part of the world so it would be nice to see some pics.

Hey Riverbird

In what way were you working with horses ? I don't ride (yet) but luv 'em. My involvement is to help with fencing - a job somewhat akin to painting the Forth Bridge !!! and any other demolition/construction at our yard. 19 equines on our paddocks *************** different breeds and sizes ranging from miniature shetland to arab and anglo arab.
The paddocks themselves attract plenty of wildlife, owls, kestrels, badgers, foxes, the tribes of rabbits and many small birds such as robins and wrens. Hopefully will get pics of these beasties to upload soon.
