Hello everyone!
What a fantastic site - can't believe I only discovered it now!
I'm based up in the North East, and love going for long walks with my two dogs. Have seen plenty of wildlife up here on early morning outings (my most favourite of which was a swooping barn owl on an early misty October morning last year). I've been helping out at a dairy farm this last fortnight and saw my first hare (for a townie this is a big deal!).
I'm currently raiding the hedgerows for sloes to make next year's sloe gin  and am contemplating making rosehip jelly (made it last year - delicious but time consuming!).
Hope to gain much knowledge on this forum! |
