Hello seajay
Welcome to WAB.
I remember the daunting challenge of the DSLR. My tip? .... practice, practice, practice. You can read all the books in the world but you can not beat getting out there and taking some photos. I am sure it will not be too long before you are posting photos to our Gallery.
