| | | 'ow do! i'm in cambridge at the moment, but i'm originally from Somerset (where i spent much time in the local woods) and spent a good few years in manchester in between.
I've always been fascinated by wildlife, and i've developed an interest in tracking, bushcraft and photography.
'looking fwd to learning everything i can from this site, looks fantastic.

actually, (feel free to think i'm mental) but i saw a large black cat in somerset - the day that i first left to go to manchester.
as i was travelling up the M5 i saw a large dark shape on my left an unused field of a farm. my brother was sat in the driving seat and my girlfriend at the time was sat on my left on the front bench seat of my van. i could hardly speak as i was trying to process the image - scanning the shape against ideas - but the tail was a large 's' shape, and the body etc was obviously that of a cat. I shouted and pointed to it, and my girlfriend said it was a domestic black cat, and my bro thinks it was a large black dog!
to ths day i cant be 100%, but if i had to bet my life on it i'd say it was a large black cat.
not sure that i'd belive a cat would be seen next to the motorway, but there it was...
like i say, feel free to think i'm mental! |
