| | | Hello from Lancashire Have been lurking for a few weeks and thought it was time to say hello.
I have to say the quality of the photos in all the galleries are brilliant.
We (hubby & me) live in Lancashire and have quite a bit of woodland around us to walk with our springer spaniel Meg, we are retired, so every day rain or shine we are out and about - we have a group we call the Duxbury Ramblers - mainly dog owners - and we try to meet up most days for a good walk.
I always carry a digital compact and on special days I carry a digital SLR which has just replaced my film SLR.
We enjoy all aspects of our walks from good company to looking at all things of interest.
Look forward to seeing more of our British Wildlife in the galleries. |

| | | Re: Hello from Lancashire Many thanks for the warm welcome.
And yes BWD you may well be hearing some of the adventures from the Duxbury Ramblers as we travel the footpaths of Lancashire - our oldest regular Rambler & friend is almost 70 and the youngest occasional rambler is 3. We are a mixed group of good friends and enjoy each others company.
Up until two years ago we had a 93 year old on parts of the rambles - he still wanders down occasionally even now.
