I'm new on this site

Hi, I've joined WAB today and am looking forward to being involved once I can start to navigate my way around the site. I am retired with interests in computing, photography, especially of birds, insects and flowers and am fortunate to live within walking distance of the peak District National Park.Have just started to follow up an idea I picked up from Springwatch last year of "getting to know my patch" Already had one very pleasant surprise when I spotted two Curlew up on the moor above the village

Thank you for your welcomes. (Hope I spelled the names right ...they disappeared as soon as I pressed the Reply button) Where do I look for an explanation of the Rankings after peoples names, New member is fairly self explanatory but it isn't obvious how the others rank.

When member post in the forum, or upload images to the Gallery, their post count goes up and their title will change to:

Under 25 posts = New Member
25 posts = Active Member
100 posts = Wild Member
250 posts = Member of the Wild Empire
500 posts = Officer of the Wild Empire
1,000 posts = Commander of the Wild Empire
5,000 posts = Knight of the Wild Empire
10,000 posts = Knight Grand Cross of the Wild Empire

Thank you all for your welcomes. At one time I was number two poster on one international website but I somehow doubt that I will be able to find the time to achieve that status on WAB, but I certainly hope to have my say.
