| | | Re: Hello newby here ..Hi Natasha, yes it can be a problem with birds flying into windows..there is a thread on here dealing with that, giving info about things you can stick on windows to warn the birds...I think it happens more if the bird can see daylight the other side of the glass, if for instance there is another window in the room, or the door is open, letting light in. ..Posie.. |

I am looking forward to finding out about our lovely wildlife.
The lady turned up from the wildlife rescue - turns out the bird was a swift and had crashed landed and there was nothing wrong with it - the lady explained that once they get onto the ground they can't always get back up - shows how much I know about the birds! Anyway they said they will feed him up and get him back into the sky - I am just glad that the bird is going to be ok and this is the first time ever I have rescued a bird that survived so I am chuffed to bits! |
