Hey all,
Only just found this site today, but have to say that it is fantastic.
Well a little about me. I'm 23 and about to go into my final year a University of Hull (studying Marine and Freshwater Bio). I'm from the Cotswolds originally but staying up here over the summer to work.
Since i'm stuck up here by myself over the summer with all my friends away, I've found myself going on more and more nature walks in the evenings after work, and am loving it 
So yeah, in a nutshell, thats me...

East Yorkshire is a big place, and so under recorded. This is a link to your local recording centre http://www.neyedc.org.uk/ . Don't know how funding cuts will hit this level of recording, but it is good to get any data recorded, as I am sure you know. There is a strong interest there with Marine stuff, you may well have come across this already. Welcome to the site, there is a spectrum of expertise here that I think is difficult to match anywhere, and some challenging threads if you want to follow them.
