Hi. I'm Chassa, live in Cardiff, South Wales. recently retired and spending more time in the garden, where we've always had frogs and toads and very lately, a slowworm. We recently installed a pool where we introduced eleven goldfish which I notice have quickly been joined by at least a few of the frogs. A few nights ago I saw, and couldn't beleve it, a small newt amongst the lilly pads, its only two inches or so nose to tail tip and grey/green in colour. I'm not a particularly wildlife person but do enjoy watching the denizens of our garden going about their business. |

Welcome to the forum chassa, I'm in Carmarthen West Wales, I love the bumble bees, and I also have two slow worms, but hav'nt seen them this year, hoping they will have babes and I will see more about.

That's good about the amphibians but I don't think they will breed in the pond with the goldfish there. |
