| | | Hello all! I've been registered a while, but have finally got around to posting a hello.
My wife and I have been planting our small garden for insects, over the last couple of years, and this year are being rewarded with a good deal of life swarming around. We were keen to see what types of bees we have visiting, and this has grown into a bit of a project to identify as much of the life in the garden as possible, hopefully over the course of a whole year.
This seems a good idea in summer, we'll see what happens in late autumn and winter!
I am going to need a lot of help with the identification, and I know you good people will help me out (fingers crossed), but are there any must-have books for insect identification, or websites for specific species that would be of use.
Also, we're looking to create a bit of an insect hotel, so any tips for stuff to add in would be appreciated.
I'll stop wittering now!
