| | Elephant Hawk Moth problem Hi everyone....new to this but hoping someone might be able to provide some information.
We have just had an Elephant Hawk Moth hatch from it's pupa, just a few hours ago. It's hanging on a twig, in a tank, drying out but only has very small upper wings, which seem deformed. The other wings, we think, haven't opened and presume won't now as it seems to have dried out too much.
Should we try and give it some sugar water or just let nature take its course. It's a very sad day!! |

| | | Re: Elephant Hawk Moth problem Hiya Crafty and welcome to the forum. I know next to nothing about moths (they're on my 'to do' list). I'm certain that someone will be along shortly to put your mind at rest. Wizzo

| | | Re: Elephant Hawk Moth problem Hi and welcome to WAB
I can't help either but try posting again in the insects section as a lot of those with the knowledge trawl through there regularly and miss the Hello section as it doesn't show up in the recent threads .
Good Luck
