| | | Hi from Devon Hi all,
Found this site via Google. Was looking to identify some birds eggs (blackbird) that we found in our pyracantha hedge we were trimming. We didn't realise the nest was there and I assume that the parents won't come back now it's not as well hidden as it once was.
Anyway, thought the site looked interesting and I love birds and wildlife, so here I am!!

| | | Re: Hi from Devon Hello Jo,
I'm also from Devon; and as far south as you can go without getting your feet wet! There are a few of us from the far SW here.
It's a friendly place here and everybody always tries to be helpful. Some areas, like uploading photos can appear a bit daunting at first but it is really quite easy if you read the instructions.
And if you do have any difficulties, just ask and someone will help you. |

You'll be pleased to know, that even though the nest is right next to our wheelie bins and in full view, mum has come back and is sitting like a good 'un!!
