Greetings fellow wildlife enthusiasts!!

I've been lurking about the forum for a few days but unable to post due to my internet being slow. But it's fixed now.

I'm 16 years old (doing my GCSEs in....oh...um.....5 days) and love animals and wildlife and the environment. Well, don't you need to be to join a forum like this!!

Anyway I live in Northern Ireland, about 4 miles outside Comber, near Lisbane. Luckily I'm in the countryside, surrounded by cattle, sheep, horses and the areas natural wildlife. Fantastically I live only a short cycle away from WWT Castle Espie and visit there often as well as tried to get a job there out in the grounds and volunteer there aswell.

I'm surrounded by fields and farmers and have a soft spot for a few fields right on my doorstep and I personally have a wee plan for them if I ever got the money to buy them....I'll post a thread explaining it later

I also have several birdfeeders hanging outside the kitchen window as well as a bird table (an old one mind you).
Regular visitors to the feeders, and seed scattered around the grass include:
Goldfinches
Chaffinches
Green Finches
Robins
House Sparrows
Blue tits
Great tits
Skylarks
Collared Doves
Crows

Amongst other slightly less commoner visitors

Anyway there ya go, some information about me, why I've joined this forum and my interest in wildlife

It all depends on what you plan to do with it. Either the wildlife gardening forum or general wildlife forum I guess maybe the best options!? I look forward to reading what you have planned. Welcome to WAB.
