| | | Hi.... I suppose you could call me an enthusiastic amateur; I've been attempting to put together a wildlife garden at home for four years now, and am eager to learn what else I can do. This year, I added two ponds to the garden, which has been well worth the effort; I've had plenty of frogs and toads visiting over the summer and autumn and have my fingers crossed for spawn.
I was so happy to find this site whilst looking up tips for ponds and wildlife gardening in general, and decided to join today.
So...hello!
Kait
EDIT - forgot to add - I'm in the gorgeous Pewsey Vale in Wiltshire.

| | | Re: Hi.... Hi nightshade and thanks for the welcome!
The preformed pond is a bit of a long story - I took some taddies home from a friend's pond for the kids to watch in a tank...and then couldn't bear to part with them as they began to turn into froglets!
The preformed pond shell was given to me by someone who was fed up with it, and at the time, couldn't afford liner so...I dug that one in, thinking to make a more natural shaped one with a soft liner at a later date (which I did, in September this year!)
