Hi from West Sussex

Hi

I've been lurking on this forum for a few days, and have finally plucked up courage to join in ...

For almost a year I have kept a wildlife notebook - just taking snaps of anything and everything that I see that interests me, and printing them out, naming them if easily identified, and leaving question marks where I'm still puzzled (lichens, anyone? - and mosses come to that).

So - I'm not brave enough to do a blog, and this forum seems a good place to start - getting help with the "what on earth is that" questions, and enthusing in everyone else's delight in this brilliant environment we live in.

I live in West Sussex, the Chichester area, and have a particular affection for the downland habitats to the north, and the harbour and shoreline habitats to the south.

Welcome to WAB Willowjay . I grew up on the South Downs (outside Portsmouth) without appreciating their natural history until I'd moved north.

Welcome to WAB and must say the South Downs is a lovely area and I once did the South Downs Way many years ago, a very enjoyable walk it was.
