| | | New from yorks Hi to all nature lovers, also from yorkshire, my great pleasures are my garden and the countryside, observing animals and birds fascinates.
Nearest special place is st ives Bingley. Though a journey to york last week brought me my first sight of Red Kite, a pair of them, wonderful, can anyone let me know if the Red Kite is increasing in numbers, why the jay is rarer than its cousins in same group, and why in my area the blackbird seems to be doing so well and see lots of them whilst the thrush l rarely see at all from being a daily visitor to the garden.
Looks like it going to be a gorgeous day, weekend, the frogspawn in my pond are now tiny tadpoles, spring flowers looking good, enjoy all.

P.S. Welcome, 'twitchyt'. | I don't mind, as long as me and my whippet can trudge home to some heartwarming bread and a quick bath in some nice tripe before going back to carving clogs, it's all reet by me. Oh, and of course, Jim, you are nesh.
