hi speckled wood- i went to see the silver-studded blues in north shropshire this summer- they're amazing aren't they? did you know that the bbc came over and filmed them emerging from the ground covered in ants? I think its due to be shown on tv next spring. |

hi fungijohn and nightshade, thanks for the welcome, really appreciate the friendliness of the site- have been telling all my friends about it too.
I've been out in the Clun valley today- and the trees down there are amazing. Autumn has arrived a little late this year but in great style. Whats it been like where you are? Would love to see any photos- I'll put some on this site next week as I'm out there again on Sunday.  | | | |
