I have posted this in the “Hello” forum as there is not a “Gone away and come back” forum  .
Hopefully some of you will remember me.
Mind you, I do not deserve to be remembered having been absent from WAB for many months  .
I have no excuses .... other than personal, family and work commitments, trips abroad and a long-term frustrating experience with my PC and Internet connection  .
Anyway .... a new year means a new resolution to contribute again as much as I can. The personal, family and work commitments haven’t gone away (do they ever?) but my new PC is flying  .
For those that do not know me, I live in Basildon in Essex (someone has to ) and I have had a passion for birdwatching since I was very young.
Over the years this has broadened in to a more general interest in wildlife, conservation and green issues and over the last 5 years or so I have also found a new labour of love, namely wildlife and landscape photography and maintaining my own website.
WAB is just a brilliant online community .
I am so pleased to be back .... if you will have me as a “born again” member .

Good to see a few folk remember a WABer from the past
Ukwildlifeo .... I do not get to Wat Tyler as much as I would like to .... I was at the new visitor centre last Friday but only because a work related conference took me there
