On a cold, wet and generally yukky day (apparently St Agnes' Eve) I am pleased to find this forum, which can remind me of better weather and adventures outdoors.
I am a self-employed gardener, mum, owned by a labradoodle called Muppet and two cats, trustee for a local environmental charity. Not doing any gardening at the moment so plenty of time to play on the puter!

Hi, you sound right up my mums street! she too is a keen gardener, and has a love for animals. unfortunatly our beloved cat has recently died- we are all devestated! would u know it.. we are from twickers too!

Thanks all.
Must say that its nice to see all you local chaps/chapesses!
We are lucky in this part of the world to have amazing places near at hand such as Richmond Park, Bushy Park, Kew Gardens, the Wetland Centre at Barnes - to name but a few.
I also spend a lot of time walking at Hamlands and am going to lead a wildflower walk there in June, to raise funds for The Environment Trust for Richmond Upon Thames. If anyone is interested, let me know! | | | |
