| | | Help!!! Hi all,
I have only been a member for a short time and have tried unsuccessfully to upload some of my photo's. I have tried again today but there are still no images on my profile. What am I doing wrong? |

| | Re: Help!!! I haven't tried to load any photo's myself so don't know, but don't they have to be a certain size, 680 x ? perhaps one at a time may help, sometimes the service you are on only allow a certain amount of up load. Doesn't it get you though when something doesn't work? |

| | | Re: Help!!! Hi Minx,
Where are you intending to post the images - the Gallery ( for high-quality images and correctly-named) or Image Archive ( for general forum pictures)?
The Image Archive is easy - anything of 1600x 1200 or less. The Gallery is for high-quality images of wildlife such as birds or plants. They have to be less than 1600x 1200, and a minimum of 800x 600 landscape and 800 as the minimum width for those in the portrait orientation.
Try to keep both to 1Mb or so in either case. For further reading on the upload process, see: http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/fo...otos-info.html
Take care, Jason |

| | Re: Help!!! Hi all,
Thanks so much for all the replies. I was begining to think I was not allowed to upload. I wanted to put photo's that I had taken of the birds in my garden because I was so amazed at the different kinds and totally awed by the bullfinch that was feeding there. I will certainly look at the size of the photo's but I know I only save them as jpg's as I find that they upload better than any others with different file extention. It is good to know that the members on WAB are so willing to help newbies. Bless you all.
Have a good day all

Joan | I have reduced the size of a couple of photo's and they have uploaded. Not happy with them though. They seem to be blurred!!!! will have to check the whole batch before I upload the rest. |
