Hello,

We're Sally and Matt, newly joined up from Redditch, West Mids.
What a great site, can't believe I've only just found it.

We're fancy rat owners who love our wildlife. We are the odd ones dog walkers bump into, hiding in reeds waiting for a greater spotted woodpecker.

Just wanted to say hello to everyone and you'll be seeing more of us on the forum soon...

Matts more of the bird side. I'm more of the moths, butterflies and mammals. Especially rodents. Love my rodents and leporids.

I am also an artist, so if anyone wants any pics of their pets or anything else, let me know. I mainly paint rats for my stall at the Midland Rat Club shows, but in all honesty, it would be a lovely change to paint something other than my beloved fancy rats.

We're being whisked off on holiday later this year to Florida with Matt's family. We were therefore wondering if anyone has ever been there and would know where / what sort of wildlife would be good to look out for - when we can escape from Mickey Mouse that is!
