New to the site

I thought that since this is my first post I should say "Hello!" and introduce myself, so, hello!

I've joined up as I am interested in wildlife photography. In particular I'm unsure of where I can go in Glasgow and the surrounding areas to access wildlife (and the rules involved in doing so).

I'm also interested in astronomy, so no doubt I will be dipping in and out of that forum too.

Hi DHG,welcome to WAB.I've just started photography ,so you maybe able to give me a few tips(a few tips,I'll need a few thousand,I reckon). Cheers Jason

Hi Jason, thanks for the reply!

I'm still finding my way in photography too, I'm studying with the New York Institute of Photography (a correspondence course). But I've already managed to get a photo published in a national magazine, and sold a few as well.

I'll certainly help you out if I can

Hello and a warm welcome to the site from another fellow Scot enjoy,there are quite afew good locations within the central belt for wildlife ,especially around Possil Marsh SWT Reserve in Glasgow,InversnaidRSPB reserve at Loch Lomand also Loch Lomand Nature Reserve Argyll Forrest Park and The Falls of Clyde Reserve so ther are quite a few places within your area ,hope this helps you in your venture and look forward to seeing your pics
