| | | Hello from Scotland My name is Ian McLeish and I live in Clarkston, East Renfrewshire. My interests are in photography of places I have visited in Scotland and anything to do with wildlife but mainly my local flora and fauna...... I am not so good at the wildlife photos and hope to get some tips from the brilliant photographers on WAB.
So far I have been well impressed with both the galleries and the kind words in the forum to new members.
I hope to be able to contribute to WAB and look forward to being an active member.
At this time I have a web address where my photos are published but think it would be worthwhile uploading anything of interest to WAB. Perhaps some of the regulars could advise me.
Thanks

| | | Re: Hello from Scotland Hi there from the Outer Hebrides, I am a new member too, I also am amazed at the wonderful pictures which to me are better than what is published in most bird books, wild flowers etc. I have my photos on google picasa not sure if I can link them through this forum but although proud of them most of them are not where near the standard of some of the professional photographers though I have uploaded a few. Hope the weather is better where you are then here its blowing a gale and had been raining for 4 days, not fauna/ bird watching weather.
Enjoy the site its the best one I've found.

I dont think its about Global Warming, its just that we, from the Far north did'nt want to steal your thunder by our outstanding scenery and wildlife. I take from your comment that you are pleased that The Scots are now contributing to WAB.
