| | | Re: Hi people Thanks guys,
mcleish, a peculiar question you asked there, haha, made me laugh, well the short answer i guess is no i havnt noticed the sky being any higher than in the uk, although if anything the sky should be lower as im at around 1000 meters above sea level here (Calgary city, Alberta).
We did the whole tour of British Columbia and wow what a beautiful province, i recommend anyone that comes here must see British Columbia, mountains, forests and the islands around vancouver island are all spectacular, i just hope this huuge deal the government has struck with the USA doesnt spoil the landscape too much as they clear fell a lot forestry here and this deal can only make it worse. The current leader, Harper, seems to want to "harmonise" a lot with USA law which in my eyes is always pro business and leads to a lot of environmental destruction.
I havnt had much of an oppertunity to go in a canoe although will hopefully get round to that before we leave which is around june next year so plenty of time.
Well, compared to Newport, Cwmbran could appear posh i guess !? but there are rich and poor areas just like anywhere else, i havnt lived there for about 7 yrs now so im not sure what the general view is anymore? cant say im unhappy about that, Cardiff on the other hand is a lovely city and its always a pleasure to go back there.
Thanks again everyone. |
