Hello everyone. As the title says, I live in Argyll, West of Scotland (although I'm really English, from Hertfordshire originally).
My interest in photography was re-started about 3 years ago when my partner bought me a point-and-shoot 5mp HP cheapo camera - my first digital. The next year, she bought me a Fuji S9600 which has been great - but I find I've outgrown that one too.
Yesterday, I took delivery of my new toy, a Nikon D5000 with the 18-55 kit lens. I have a Sigma 70-300 macro on its way (an ebay purchase). I discovered the joys of macro wildlife photgraphy earlier this year on a day's experience with Lochvisions at Loch Awe. (The pic on the left of a blue tit is one of the pics I took).
I hope to post some of my pics onto this site - mind you, I'll have to go some to match the quality in the pics I've looked at so far!
