Hello all 
I am so glad I found this forum during my wanderings as it is exactly what I have been looking for.
I’ve been interested in wildlife for as long as I can remember and as a child I practically lived in the garden (of my own accord, of course  ). I remember getting excited whenever I found a new kind of wildlife and luckily that feeling has remained with me to this day.
I find insects in particular endlessly fascinating. It’s a completely different world to get lost in and there’s so much left for me to learn.
I am looking forward to exploring this site more fully later on today and finding my niche

I was very much like that as a child, played for hours on end on my own in my garden...always finding things to collect and watch

I've had a look around and am sure this is the perfect place to be.
Dutchess: I used to have two house-rabbits; first pets, and were supposed to be fully house-trained and people-friendly. Spent all their time hiding under my bed only coming out for food. Also used to stand in the litter tray and "go" on the carpet instead . We eventually gave them to some friends with a big garden for them to roam in. Lovely creatures though
Nice to meet a person with similar childhood interests.

I see we have another Banksy fan among us, that's gotta be my favourite piece of his work. This is another favourite of mine, 
but it's not Banksy's work

It's from a Card that I got for my friend when she got Married, she hasn't received it yet, but I know she'll love it.

Sienna, once you've been bitten by the bug (pardon the pun!) I don't think you ever really loose the interest or the enthusiasm. Regarding learning, I don't think it's possible to learn it all, which is why we all love nature. So much to see and so little time!
