A quick hello!

Just wanted to say hi!

I am lucky enough to live in the New Forest and I'm looking to find out more about the local wildlife, as I hadnt previously given it much consideration - just took it for granted really. Nowadays I have more time to appreciate it and it would be good to know about some of the species that we see when we are out walking our dog. I think I've come to the right place!

You've definitely come to the right place! There are a few people on here from the New Forest, so you should find some useful info about wildlife in your area. Look out for posts from Deer Stalker, his knowledge of the wildlife of the New Forest is simply phenomenal!

Welcome to WAB

Once a year I visit Lyndhurst, as I exhibit at the New Forest show and camp over the three days, thoroughly enjoying it. Sometimes (as in 2007 - the year of the infamous mud!) I do so wish I'd booked a B&B!
