| | Hello!! OOps
I apologize, I've been all over this site like a rash, and haven't said Hello yet!
I work full time in a Wildlife Rehabilitation Unit in the UK, and our main task is to return sick, injured and orphaned animals of all species back into their natural habitat. This site is of particular interest to me as it serves not only as a resource for wildlife lovers, but also one in which we can all learn more about our native species of animals.
I have worked at the unit for nearly 10 years now and we have only just become a charity. We work closely with the local RSPCA inspectors (yes they do get a bad press), but the inspectors themselves are dedicated to ensuring that no animal suffers and can only act once they recieve information from the telephone staff!!!
Thanks to the web builders, moderators and administrators for creating this website, I hope to spend many a happy hour here...When time allows for me to come, winter tends to be our quieter months for wildlife rehabbers
cheers Tragus
(anyone guessed what my nickname means yet?) Hmm another question...can anyone identify the bat pictured by my name? |

Welcome aboard! You have the right idea in thinking of this site as a resource for learning about the wildlife we here all enjoy. We look forward to having your input to the forum if not the Gallery.
I would like to know more about what you do in wildlife
rehab. Perhaps you will give us a write-up when you have time.
Best wishes
