Anyway, thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. As with most people, finding time to photograph wildlife is my problem. This weekend I'm off to Donnington for the MotoGP, so the only wildlife I'm likely to see will be racing along the track at 200mph

Over recent months I've begun to go on looooong walks in an effort to lose weight and although it has initially been about pure exercise, it will become more and more about getting out there and enjoying the coutryside (with camera in hand).

Hey Jeff, I couldn't imagine life without hills these days! On Sunday I did a 19-Mile walk from Rivington Pike over Angelzarke, onto Darwen Tower and back home via Winter Hill. Phew! Knackered!!! But a fantastic day despite the miserable clouds.

I just spent some time being mesmerised by your amazing bird photography. Fantastic!!
