| | | A belated Hi I didn't get around to introducing myself when I first joined so I thought I had better do so at some time, so why not now.
I am 60 years old and I live in Coventry with my Missus, Ros, and two dogs, Jasper (Golden Retriever) and Max (Alsation x Collie).
As you may have come to realise by my posts and photos I am a bit of a twitcher and come armed with a pager which alerts me to all the birds throughout the country.
My next passion is Driving. I love driving and for many years I was a Multi drop / Groupage Driver and have also been a taxi driver in my time. In fact way back in the 60's I used to be a Fireman then a Driver on the old BR Steam engines, based at Saltley Locomotive shed in Birmingham.
Driving is also part of another love of mine, birdwatching abroad. This takes me into many uncharted places well off the tourist track. Thankfully my trusted Nikon CP4500 camera and Swarovski Scope together helps me capture some of the birds seen on these trips.
I have also started moth trapping and next year I hope to increase my knowledge on this sector of wildlife. This should come with some good photos as well, which in turn could mean some neat additions to the gallery.
My job is a Housing Assistant within a large Housing Association and it is my job to allocate the houses and flats out to new tenants.
Hopefully I can contribute a few more photos and and the odd thread now and again in the future.
That's about it folks. |
