Hi

Ive just stumbled upon your website whilst researching for a website about wildplaces in Dorset. I only hope that my site becomes a 1/4 as informative as what you and your fellow contributors have created here.

I have been involved with conservation for many years, but the last 7 years or so have been less so, bring up children etc.

I'm just starting to make my garden a little more wildlife friendly, hoping to encourage particularly birds into the garden as much for the benifit of my children as me. We have a lot of cats about, and a good many squirrels.

I'm just rekindling an old hobby of photography with digital cammera gear and hoping to join the two and take good photos of wildlife at the same time.

I work as a mobile compressor engineer travelling around the counties of Dorset, Hampshire and some of Wiltshire with my daily work.

I am very novice as identifying wildlife and look forward to being able to post photos for assistance when I c annot find it in the books.
