| | | Hello Hi, I'm new.
I'm currently in my summer hoildays between A-levels and hopefully university in October. Where I'll be going to sussex to do an Ecology and Conservation degree. I am trying over summer to do 'project' at home trying to work out what wildlife and plants we've got here. Which I'm then writing up in my blog.
Currently I am having problems with identifying the little things such as the different types of insects, grasses etc. I was wondering if anyone could help me, especially with the insects?
First one to try, is a distinctive aphid, so far I've only come across the winged versions, but it has a bright green, fairly round body, with jet black legs, and antennae. Clear wings. But also two black spikes at the end of the body. Unfortunently I've yet to get a photo.
