| | | Camera and Settings Details Hi,
I am a new member and have been 'blown away' by the excellent photography .
My wife and I are enthusiastic about wildlife, my wife with the camera and me with wildlife in all its forms.
We would love to know if there is a way of discovering what camera and which setting were used for particular photographs please. |

| | | Re: Camera and Settings Details I alway post the camera and lens that I used on an image. For the settings, if you click on an image to make it larger, then right click and select 'properties', you should be able to see them.

Jim | Hi Jim,
I have just had a go but could not see either details of the camera or settings although I did as you suggested this is part of what I got:- http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/pi...ith_vole_3.jpg
I clicked to enlarge a barn owl holding a vole which really took my eye it was in Gallery and Owl folder on page 2 I think.
Hope that helps.

| | | Re: Camera and Settings Details No Brian, that image doesn't show any data for me either. If people use 'save for web' the EXIF data gets stripped out. I'm always carefull to include it - for people like you that want to see it. Try this one of mine, and you'll see what I mean:
Remember, you'll have to click on it to make it larger first.
BTW, for the image you posted, you should have clicked on the 'forum code' url to highlight it, then copied and pasted it in - like I've done above.
I've looked for the image you posted the link for. I don't know where you found it - I can't find it anywhere!
Jim

Jim - If you go to Members and click on M then click on page 44 and click on Mike B you will get to his profile and the pic is there.

As Jim has already said though, the camera details have not been described, and EXIF data has not been attached to the photo.
Regards
Mike.

Jim | Clicked on it and then right clicked the enlarged image but got no details of camera or settings I must be doing something wrong if you say you get this information.
I have tried other images same failure.
Sorry Jim,
