Thanks for the encouagement Col.
I find WAB very difficult to get to grips with as I am computer ignorant and so finding my way around the site is complicated.
I am happier with flickr where my wife's photographs are uploaded and I can deal with them and queries more easily.
Her pics can be seen "Margaret the Novice" + flickr
Why WAB refuse to allow links to other sites I do not know but I am sure they have their reasons
Will struggle on with WAB nonetheless as I find members extremely helpful. You have acted as a spur.

Great set of photos on flickr by your wife and yourself (I assume). I'm on there as macrocam ( a spur of the moment nickname

).

Hi, please do not give in on this forum just because of a simple problem such as uploading photos, it took me ages i am sixty eight but was determined to beat it, I have found it useful since for sending pics of a faulty product so you never know when it will be handy, its alright for all these kids they where brought up with pc,s, what i did was selected a pic in my pictures sent it to my documents renamed it for the forum so as not to get mixed up with any other pics then returned to the forum and image library and then uploaded my pic, try this first before attempting a thread with a pic you can then go further, aland.

Here's some bedtime reading about why WAB doesn't allow external images on the site.

Why Can't I Post External Images in the Forum? | Wild About Britain

We're currently rebuilding some of the site and we'll hopefully produce a quicker and easier guide to uploading photos in the next day or two.

Don't despair, Brian. I'm older than you and it took me some practice to get the sequence of things with a lot of help and taking notes. Even now extra fingers seem to put things in I didn't mean! It helps to keep the grey matter oiled and is a great site for friendly help. The more you do the easier it gets.

Thanks Col for your kind and encouraging comments.

My wife uses the camera I just upload to flickr and respond to requests and comments on her behalf. What a team!! Wrinklies but still wresting with technology.

Hi needless to say I wish you every success in making WAB site more wrinklie friendly because I find the membership extremely helpful and kind.
