Hi Tim, welcome to WAB. Is the wood still coppiced? When own woodland, if this isn't a silly question - are they still with public access?

Hi there

It is a coppice - although not much coppicing has taken place for about 40 years by the look of the stools...I have got some forestry commission friends who are helping me to manage it a bit more actively...

You can have public footpaths if a wood is private...this one hasn't...although I have sold a few sections and the right to use the entire wood with a few like minded people which so far has worked well.
