| | | Re: Anyone Else Here From Essex? I notice Hanningfield is running a 'Batty Evening' on Saturday 22nd August, where you take a chair and watch the bats, Pipistrelle females and young. Does anyone fancy going to this? It won't seem so bad that we spent our Saturday night watching bats if there are several of us - if anyone asks we can just say we "saw a few friends for the evening" |

The black swan is around at the moment if you are intersted - I like it even if it is an "imposter"

| | | Re: Anyone Else Here From Essex? Hope no one minds my bumping this, but just to let anyone on this thread know who is interested: the warden of Hanningfield Reservoir, Bill Godsafe, will be giving an illustrated talk on the history and development of the reserve at Shenfield Parish Hall this Thursday evening (18th).
It is run by Brentwood and Billericay Wildlife Trust. It starts at 8pm (although there will be some admin business of the Trust to get out of the way before the talk starts). Postcode of the hall is CM15 8LB.
I will be there myself as well |
