Thank you all for the warm welcome. My lad was most impressed to find out his mystery bird was, in fact, just a plain old pheasant and he's had a little peruse of this site whilst writing up his latest project for college (First Aid, there was me thinking I could help until I realised it was FA for animals not humans) and he's delighted to find so many like-minded people. The last few months since starting college have been refreshing for him as he's found lots of people who think it's normal to be passionate about animals unlike the kids at school who bullied him for his interests and now he's among more people who are interested too.
