| | | Hello from Words About me?
Well I'm male, mid/late 40s. Married.
I'm totally obsessed with the fox that visits my garden, and my website which was originally dedicated to philosophy and radical literature has been swamped with photographs of my new friend.
The fox thing started this year after our old dog died and the foxes suddenly had free range of the garden. Before that we just had occasional sightings, and would spot them running in and out of gardens when we were taking the dog for walks. We're just off the South Downs by the way.
Most stunning fox watch moment to date has to have been watching the fox climb into the trees to hunt for birds eggs.
I'm also a big fan of Opera (the browser, not the music), and am geeky enough to carry a Palm pda... with a nice foxy screen |

I am intrigued in the fox climbing the tree!! We have foxes here in Bucks but I have never seen a fox climb a tree. Would you have a photo? |

Silly question about the photos
There's a series of pixs here. Plus some close ups.
And at the bottom of this page there's a video clip of an earlier climb. (low quality as it was filmed on my Olympus stills camera.) |

| | | Re: Hello from Words Welcome Words and thanks for the insight into you Fox World.
I must admit that I have a soft spot for them myself, and we do get the occasional Fox by the side of the house, but as we have two dogs there is no chance that they will enter our garden.
I have seen them climb trees myself so it wasn't a surprise to see your photos of one doing just that.
I like the photo on your Palm, is that a photo of your visitor or another Fox. |

He was incredibly friendly, and would come running over to me when I went outside. Haven't seen him for a month or so now... I presume he's been driven off to find a new patch. At least I hope so. On his last visit he was showing signs of having been in a fight. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
