| | Hello, newbie beekeeper from Devon Hi all, joined yesterday and I'm trying to find my way round site to the 'beekeeping' section - still haven't found one yet - am I being blidingly stupid or isn't there a specific one!! I'm just about to take delivery of my first bees and it is with some trepidation, and excitement of course! Regards to all, and I would love to hear from anyone with hives (well not personally, but in their garden)!!! |

| | | Re: Hello, newbie beekeeper from Devon Hi Devoncreamtea (Yummy) Welcome to Wab. It is full of friendly knowledgeable people. I`ve just looked to see if I can find a bee section, & I can`t find one either! The forums have only recently been split into different species groups so I guess there`s not a bee one as yet.
Have fun on here

I'm afraid you won't find much about beekeeping here, as this site is about wildlife, but there's a UK beekeepers' forum here: British Beekeepers' Association Discussion Forum - Powered by vBulletin
Stick around anyway

| | | Re: Hello, newbie beekeeper from Devon Hello, I joined yesterday and got totally engrossed in identifying the beautiful bumblebees in my cob wall, and also hopefully helped on an answer on wild beed of which I have thousands in my lawn!!! I think the insect section hich is showing all the different ind bees and info on all our wild bees is going to be fascinating anyway. Cheers! |

| | Re: Hello, newbie beekeeper from Devon Hi Devoncreamtea (or DCT for short)
Welcome to the site
We have an insect forum that covers bees but not as in beekeeping as yet, but your expertise would be appreciated in helping others to ID the bees that they take pics of and don't know what species they are,
Hope you stay and enjoy the site,
Duncan |
