From those, like Ron immediately above, who have thousands of posts to their name and have earned titles like Commander, you can expect a special indulgence. Only last week somebody posted what he evidently considered to be an interesting composite in the botanical section. He was quickly informed he had found a dandelion. No sarcasm, mind. No sniggering emoticons. No icicles appearing round the edge of the post. Just a friendly sequence of replies to the effect that taraxacum officinale was the find. So have no fear that the ornithological rarities that you post may turn out to be the most common of garden birds!
