Hi all 
My name is Lisa and I'm from Fareham, Hampshire. I've spent my whole life periodically poking around looking for weird and wonderful wildlife. We live near woodland so have quite a few different bird species visit the garden, and a natural pond which teems with wildlife My husband likes to photograph my finds.
I recently started keeping tarantulas, which has actually increased my interest in native UK spiders. |

Hi Lisa and welcome to WAB. I know Fareham well. I lived in Lovedean, outside Waterlooville, until age 18 but had no interest in natural history. 18 wasted years right in the South Downs! My mother still lives in Denmead.
If you're interested in botany or mycology you could hardly be better placed |
