| | | Hello, happy to be back and thankyou! Hello everyone & thankyou for the lovely 'happy birthday' email I recieved today. 21 again ...and again ...and
I have not posted for some time & there have been changes for the worse in our local area.
Where there were green fields behind our house, there are now around 500 new houses. No longer home for badgers and pheasants, we have not seen any Jays in our garden for a long time now.
Yesterday I noticed a hole in the bank behind our shed which looks like a rat hole by the roots of our holly hedge.
I have two sinks of water with weed and 'ramps', a great des'res' for frogs but so far no takers.
After a very cold winter I am hoping for a good summer for us & any wild animals / birds which have survived the winter.
Happy to be back on WAB

| | | Re: Hello, happy to be back and thankyou! Welcome back and happy birthday to you. Done the same on the next field next to where I live, built about 50 houses/apartnments. But it was a former golf club house/pub and garden centre, never thought it was that big. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Hybrid Mode |
