about me happeily married two grown up daughters and one son one a barrister ones a pharmicst and the lads a machenic work a bae systems brough looking forward to retiriing next year when i will be 53 fan of Hull fc rlfc and hull city fc have an allottment where iam the secretary love oprea and country music have a place in turky for my hols go every couple of months to chill out

I had posted somewhere, but couldn't find afterwards, I was asking about the plague of red spiders all over the front patio and brickwork of the house and then I had obtained the answer from my cousin who is a Doctor of Entemology here is is answer ( in my simple words) if anyone is interested:

It is a Running red spider which is feeds on pollen which has blown oto the brickwork.

This "running red spider mite" breed in the soil and also in the pavement cracks. They seem to travel fast but they are very small so can't go too far. Don't forget that 'red spider mite' is something different - it is a plant pest and is much better known than the mites that we have.
