A avatar must be 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5kb
If you click on control at the top of this page and then go to edit avatar under settings and options it will give you the details of how to do it there. |

OK, as an experiment, I just took off my avatar and then put it on again. The size is 960 KB and 1880 pixels along the top!
So I don't think it has to be that small

Wow what warm welcomes, thank you everyone .. and hedge witches YAY it should be fun round here.
Still very confused about my profile pic, it says "The maximum size of your custom image is 250 by 250 pixels or 29.3 KB (whichever is smaller)." and it's showing my pic but when I press save it says file upload failed .... but it's still there from last time so how could it have failed
Did I mention that me and technology don't mix lol |

Aha mystery solved ... it says file upload failed but it fibs!!
I first said avatar but was actually uploading a profile pic, that can be 250 x 250 and the avatar is 80 x 80. |
