Hi Poeps,

I found your forum while looking for info on a caterpillar I had found. Still haven't identified it yet but a Peacock is high on my list. I wil have to upload a photo for you experts to positively identify it. I am interested in all wildlife but birds are my particular interest. I am an avid picture taker, most of them rubbish. My skills are strictly limited in that regard but I just occasionally take a really good picture which makes up for all the ones that go in the bin. Thank heavens for digital cameras, so only the good ones get printed and i can hide or delete the embarrassing failures. I am retiring in a few short years so perhaps I can improve with practise. Look forward to chatting with some of you when time permits, it looks an interesting place.

You obviously didn't realise that a high failure rate with photos was one of the essential entry criteria to WAB .

One of my tips is practice .... and practice .... and practice. You will find plenty more tips here or if in doubt just ask.
