Hello & Help Please

Hi Folks,
new to the site but love the birds and we have plenty in the garden.

The help bit is regarding Optics and i am looking for a MONOCULAR, I already have two sets of binoculars and a scope, but I need something to observe 30 - 70 Mtrs for my archery. This will enable me to leave the scope in my case and simply have a lightweight monocular. Could be zoom?

Any ideas would be appreciated - Location south of Birmingham.

Hi Malcolm and welcome to WAB, I can't help you with the monocular I'm afraid, but I'm sure there'll be someone on here that will guilde you in the right direction, in the mean time enjoy the site.

Thanks, I hope to get lots of info on this and other matters. Main hoby at present is Archery and use the web site AIUK ( Archery Interchange) a lot...... all for archers.

Spotting scopes

Thanks Ron, I had seen that site and shortlisted the Bresser Sprite 10x50 as a possible. I was really looking for something like a 8-12 x 30 or more, if such a thing exists. I have a Bresser Safari 20-60x80 which is excellent for targets 70M to 90M, the monocular was so that I don't have to set up the scope as often. The 10x50 is good though.
