| | | Re: first pic! thanks for all the welcomes guys, like this forum a lot! Getting to grips with the technical aspects of the 40d now, so this week going to get out and try and get some more shots, depending of course on our wonderful weather  . My last slr was a minolta x700 if any of you are ancient like me and can remember them, so the 40d is a pleasure to use by comparison - the x700 didnt have autofocus, I had a 100-300mm zoom and 2x teleconverter, manually focusing on a bird in flight was pretty difficult lol And the cost of developing film meant every wasted shot hurt the wallet, so am having so much fun now, shooting hundred of shots a day is amazing, and some of them are actually in focus |
