Greetings from yet another newbie :o)

Hi there,

I joined at some point over the weekend in order to help identify some of the insects I have photographed recently in my back garden.

I work in IT as a Unix systems administrator but have a passion for photography that has recently started concentrating on macro work.

I am more than happy to share what I have photographed with you in return for help with identification of the insects/animals I shoot.

Regards

Tim

Re: Greetings from yet another newbie :o)

Hi Tim and welcome

I'm new here too. I'm loving Wild About Britian. I was introduced to the site by a member of our UK Wildlife photography club on deviantART. Here's the link if you want to see what we do http://oeoeoeoeoeoeoeoeoeoe.deviantart.com/ In some ways it's a mini version of this.

I'd be happy to try to help with any ID questions you might have. No great expert but I have some good reference books and Google always helps

Looking forward to seeing your work

Sheryl

Hi Tim – welcome to WAB!

I'm also into macro photography as well (a recent convert too!) and this is a great place for showing your pics and getting helpful advice on just what it is you've snapped .... I'm sure you will soon feel at home here ....

Nice to hear from you. I hope you find the site as useful as I do - not just for identification queries, but just to exchange news and views with fellow enthusiasts.

I can't wait to see your photos!

Sounds like a good deal!

The only problem is that I will probably enjoy your photos but struggle with the IDs for you .

However, there is always someone here that can ID anything you care to submit.

Welcome to WAB!

Richard
