| | | Hello, also. Never let it be said that coming up with an interesting Subject Heading when starting out is an easy task. I began by entering a rather dubious "Hello" followed by a rather overused "Hi" before deciding to venture back to the dubious, but giving it a rather amusing ", also" on the end. Did it work?
Hi, my names Amateur Naturalist*, I am currently sitting on a sofa with the sound of a tub full of crickets chirping away whilst my wife is watching "Porky's"... let it be known that I in no way enjoy this dribble and am blessing the noisy crickets who have allowed me to block out some of this films noise.
I live in Cornwall, do enjoy birdwatching, looking under rocks for bugs and sticking my hands in dark rock pools to see what's biting. I have a Bearded Dragon (hence the crickets), a Corn Snake, A Greyhound and some stick insects. I also hate spiders and bulls.
Think that should do for now, I could go on, but you have lives to live.
All the best,
*Paul. |

Welcome to WAB. 'Sounds as though you'll fit in here nicely! Avoid the spider and bull threads though....we have quite a few of those, especially the former.
A Bearded dragon, eh? Great little creatures!

Spiders are not insects :-) And as for bulls, I have had my fair share of run-ins with ones larger than a Hotchkiss H-39 and with all the anger of the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs.
And finally, thank you all for saying hello. |

They are all creepy crawlies to me, though I don't mind them. Bulls are OK too but I live near a few farms and am used to them, most are fairly placid. unless you get between it and it's intended
